Bart Rispens Research Award nomination

Our publication (Bekő et al., 2022) entitled "Development and evaluation of temperature sensitive Mycoplasma anserisalpingitidis clones as vaccine candidates" has been nominated for the Bart Rispens Research Award (2023). This award (http://www.wvpa.net/awards.php#bart) is given biennially to the first author of the best paper published in the journal Avian Pathology. Our paper has been selected to join a short list of 12 papers published in Avian Pathology volumes 50 and 51 (years 2021 and 2022). The award is due to be decided this summer and will be presented at the next Congress of the World Poultry Veterinary Association in Verona, Italy (https://wvpac2023.com/).

László Bánáti, 5th year undergraduate veterinary student, won the 1st place in the Animal Genetics and Biotechnology part of the Agricultural Section of the 35th National Scientific Student Competition with his dissertation (Development of molecular biology methods for the detection and differentiation of K 5831 vaccine strains from wild-type Mycoplasma gallisepticum isolates) prepared in our laboratory.
